Velcro or zipper: which HEALiX should I get?
Both use the identical heating system and 77°F–176°F range. This original velcro version seals tighter, so it holds heat better at the top of the range. Pick it if you like your sessions hot. Pick the zipper HEALiX-Z if fast, easy entry and exit matters more.
Will I actually sweat, or is this just a heated blanket?
You'll sweat. Far infrared heats your body directly rather than the air around you, so most people break a real sweat within 15–20 minutes, at a lower temperature than a traditional 190°F sauna. Crank it toward 176°F and it's an intense session.
I don't have much space. Where does it go?
Anywhere you can lie down: a bed, couch or yoga mat. It plugs into a standard outlet, sets up in under a minute, and folds down to fit on a closet shelf or under a bed.
Who shouldn't use an infrared sauna?
Check with your doctor first if you're pregnant, have a heart condition, a pacemaker or metal implants, or any medical condition affected by heat.
