How a session works
Scan
Lie back and start a scan. The machine measures the length and curve of your spine so the session fits your body.

What the numbers mean
The massage engine
CERACORE is Ceragem's massage engine, the moving unit that travels along your spine. The generation number marks the engine design: the V9 has the 5th generation, the V7 the 4th, and the V5 and S4 the 3rd.
Spinal scan
Before the massage starts, the machine scans the length and curve of your spine, then adjusts the path to your body. Body sensing supports heights from about 3 ft 11 in. to 6 ft 1 in.
Thermal massage
Heat travels with the massage. Several models reach up to 149°F (65°C), and the V9, V6 and S4 reach it in about 10 minutes. The V7 and V5 use thermal massage wheels. Many models add a warm abdominal attachment.
Programs and modes
Automatic programs run a routine for you, and custom or manual modes let you set the area and style. The V9 offers 27 wellness modes, the V6 22, the V7 20, the V5 17 and the S4 12.
Lower-body air massage
The V9, V7 and V6 add an air-cell massager for the legs and feet that squeezes and releases in sequence. The V5 and S4 do not include one.
Bed, chair and fold
The V9 moves from chair to flat bed in 1° steps between 130° and 180°. The other beds fold to a compact size for storage, and the S4 doubles as an ottoman. Check the folded size against your space.

S4 or V5: which one should I choose?
Choose the S4 if you want it to look like an ottoman when it isn't in use. It has 12 programs and converts into a full-length lounger. Choose the V5 if you want more modes (17) and a bed-style design. The V5 is listed as an FDA Class II, 510(k) cleared device, while the S4 is a Class I device, FDA registered.
What comes with the S4?

How much room do I need?
As an ottoman, the S4 is about 52 in. long, 29.4 in. wide and 17.5 in. high. Converted to a lounger it is about 84 in. long. It weighs about 115 lbs.
Thermal bed or massage chair: which should I choose?
A thermal massage bed lets you lie out while the engine travels along your spine, and it folds away when you are done. A massage chair keeps you in a seated or zero-gravity recline. The V9 does both. Choose a bed for a full-length session, or look at the Pause series chairs if you prefer to sit back.

Ceragem sets a 14-day return window for items in new, unused condition, with a 20% restocking fee, so we want you to choose with confidence. What if it breaks, and can I reach a real person?
Your Ceragem is covered by Ceragem's manufacturer warranty. Master models include 1 year of parts and labor, with years 2 and 3 covering parts only (labor is billed separately after year 1). Our team is available 9am to 5pm Eastern, Monday through Friday, with chat and email open 24/7, and we'll help you coordinate any warranty claim with Ceragem.
How does delivery work, and who sets it up?
